Tasting Notes
With distinct floral aromas complemented by notes of tropical fruit such as lychee, pineapple and papaya, this is an aromatic full bodied white wine. Paired with oriental dishes, its smooth and silky finish makes for the perfect combination.
History
Founded in 1986, Vinas Del Vero is the leading producer in Somontano, counting for 40% of the D.Os production. It is recognised for making superb wines from native and international varieties.
Regional Information
Somontano literally meaning under the mountain is a little known but breathtakingly beautiful area of Northern Spain, nestling in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The El Enebro single estate was planted in 1990. The vineyard lies at 400 metres above sea level, facing north. The microclimate and the nature of the soil are right for the Gewrztraminer grape, which has found its ideal Spanish habitat in Somontano.

Vinification Details
Our El Enebro' plot lies just three minutes from our winery. This enables us to bring the grapes in very quickly and keeps the wine fresh, avoiding any loss of the aromas contained in the skins.
